Just buy an 02 -04 955 and you can pillion all day + you can spend the money you save on going for a months holiday on your comfortable bike. I have done plenty of 500km and more days with my wife on the back, not a problem.

she'll love it, very comfy compared to a sport bike.

My wife rides her own bike, a 2006 Kaw Z750S, and I took the passenger pegs off mine. She was a little miffed when I sold my C14 and bought this, as she use to ride sometimes on the Connie. She know now if she wants to go, she will have to ride her own

Wonderful. My wife was a reluctant pillion on my 2006 S3. She liked to ride with me but comfort was marginal at best. So, I bought a 2012 Ducati Multistrada S Touring on the (self-serving) premise that it would be a great 2-up sport tourer. (Not to mention the balls-to-the wall performance. Ha!) Not long after, she completed a rider-course, got her motorcycle certification and bought her own 2012 Ducati Monster 1100 EVO. WooHoo! It's much more fun seeing her rolling in front of me in full leathers than hanging on in back.

Now my 2012 S3R has no pillion pegs.
