Can some of you PLEASE post some nice pics of your S3 with clipons. I have seen a few pics, but most at odd angles.

I am in need of getting an S3 when I get home from Iraq, but the S4R is also in contention for my love. At any rate, I would need to get some nice clipons, rearsets, and would prefer to have a slipper clutch in the S3.

Thanks.

Dint know if you need a slipper clutch for the S3 though, it has a "backlash gear eliminator" that prevents rear wheel lockups if you drop to too low a gear at speed then dump the clutch, it seems more a mechanical function in the transmission rather than the friction pack of the clutch. (I'm not the most mechanical person here so I could be speaking out of term)

I know the race replicas are beginning to come out with slipper clutches but I seriously doubt if 99% of those that are equipped with them will ever be employed on the street, I could be wrong but that seems so track-centric. But it's the new "must have" item much like radial mounted brakes and under seat exhausts.

Anyhow, I love the clip-ons and am keeping the bike this way forever..or until age or injury dictates otherwise.

Here's a pic of my '99 with clip-ons. Clip ons are off of a Honda CBR. Didn't need to change any of the cabling.

Where are you at in Iraq? Camp Victory or Anaconda? Rotating out this month?

Sorry -- can't sort out how to upload a pic. Check out my profile on T595.net. There's pics there.

I'll 2nd that! But each to his own, but that's the whole reason I bought the S3, plenty of guts and handling with a decent riding position! Btw, I likes the chrome S3hooligan! I'd love to see a 05+ chromed up!
