whoa, rudebwoy. I edited my statement. No pun intended by the gansta statement, I changed it to rapper. And yes, most bikes you see in any rap video is bling'n and stretched Busa's or some kind of Zook or 4 wheeler with 20's on it. And there's nothing wrong with that, I like blingage myself, you should've seen my 99 R1(just blingage, no stretch!). And I believe flatspins is referring to the music, not necessarily the people! Everyone has different taste in music! I would welcome you to ride with me, just as much as I would the next guy, no matter the race, color, etc....

I don't think the video was all that bad. I would have liked them to do a little more research though and have 3-cylinders, not six...
At least the stunt person riding the bike was doing it some justice with rolling burnouts, wheelies, etc. I think this video came out around the time Mission Impossible featured the T595 S3 with Tom Cruise on it so I'm not suprised to see it in a music video.
I'd like to see a Jurassic 5 video with their fluffy animal characters pullings stunts on the new S3, lol. Imagine 6' tall guy in a hippo costume breakdancing and then pulling 12's, lol.

Something is way off when Aaliyah is concidered rap or gangsta, that speaks to lack of understanding, its like calling Barry Manilow classic rock!
Might I suggest you take a listen to some good solid Hip Hop like my all time favorite 'Ol Dirty Bastard- Return to the 36 Chambers for example. Now that's some hip hop we all should never go thru life not hearing.
Anyhow, I'll pre-emptivly apologize to any and all that intended harmless light-hearted banter by it, those who see my reaction as a tad heavy or a rant that went off on a tangent, and those who see this as taking away from what the forum is really for. In turn please be careful yourselves.
I did have another rant I started writing but decided against completing it. lets keep it light.
Lets get back to bikes.

Very old video that!.... They say motorcycling is dangerous, but Aaliyah died on an overloaded private aircraft, piloted by a guy with no licence! What a waste of talent...... :hammer:

meant it a little tongue-in-cheek, but listen outside of earshot of 'wimmin' and children. Misogyny at it's shining hip-hop example, and so not Aaliyah, but so good and funny in places you'll crack up, kinda lile listening to a Richard Pryor routine. Beware-" 'Ol dirty bastard" means he aint Mr. Rogers!!
...er......back to bikes :-D

This is why I prefer to ride alone, my bike could give a ***** what color I am and what I have on the I-pod as long as I'm twisting the throttle, and all the idiot, closet bigot, over opinionated jerks get left in the rear view...

What am I supposed to have meant? that first link took me to a rap song called nobody smiling it is in the style refered to commonly as "gangsta" rap. once someone posted the link to the correct song I did not care for it, I stated that it was a SUBJECTIVE TASTE ISSUE I have no problem if you like that it's not for me . take a pill dude outbursts and accusations make you look like a fool.
