As I've posted before, I'm still trying to fix up my 95 Triple. Its diablo black, but I belive that refers to the gloss paint (tank, etc.). What type of black paint should I buy to touch up the black on the engine, and engine covers?
I believe the engine is powder coated. Can anybody corroborate that?
When I scratched up my side covers I used a little commercial Krylon Engine Paint in black and a hobby paint brush. Use a number of coats. Then I wet sanded it down and polished it with a Dremel tool. You can still see it, but only barely and if you know where to look.
