Uh, how old are we talking about? I was beginning to think that half the Speedy owners on this site might fall in the "old fart" category.

I classified him as "old fart" due to the fact he no longer works and obviously has too much time on his hands! Also he wears only beige....

Seriously though the bike was only idling on the driveway for 60 secs while I got my helmet out of the house. If he's going to move that quicK I think he should get himself down to the Olympic stadium for the athletics tomorrow!

My neighbors hate my low mount too. In fact, Johns Hopkins security (new building) asked me to not bring my bike anymore when I visit. Or push it through their garage. They said it was "painfully loud" in every floor of the parking garage, lower and upper, while I was coming in the road entrance. :-P I swear squires slip on with no baffle might as well be open headers :-)

I have the arrow lowboy and I wish mine was a little louder. I just came from a Roadstar Warrior and Buell so I am used to loud exhaust.

Beige! Well that explains everything. Just another khaki poser wannabe who doesn't appreciate the music that comes out of the Triple pipe organ.

Old maybe.
But if they ride a Speed they're no Fart.

HP Corse Hydroform guys: any long term impressions?

Build quality seems to be excellent and they weigh less than 1kg with the baffles removed... seems to be a no brainer (if the styling is to your liking which for me it very much is!).

I assume that you would just run the Arrow low-boy tune or similar?

Is there any particular source for these? I live in Australia and can't find any locally but eBay is lining them up for approx. $600 USD.

Cheers,
Ben
