Thanks heaps for the feedback guys. I am going to to do a bit more leg work on the sebel nautlis compact. Sound damm loud and exactly what I need. Today nearly collected some dopy pedestrains crossing against the lights and not looking. My thumb was on the horn for nearly 50 meters and they did not even look up.

I like the mounting and fitting point 02s3 did but I don't have the tools or ability.

The one of the speed3.com site looks like a quick and easy install...... but I want something with a bit of balls.

Have ordered the Sebel Compact from Nippys aswell after a couple of American sites quoted two to three times the price of the unit for delivery to Australia.

I now have to figure out how to mount it on the ST3 2005

Moneky Hanger if you are going to create a bracket for your ST3 2005 I would galdly compensate you for you trouble. I have neither the tools or the ability.

Cheers Vic

ordered mine from Nippy Normans also, Easy to fit, just had to fold one of the two supplied thin metal mounting strips in half to server as something solid for the horn to bolt onto; the stock rubber bushing and washers dont leave enough space to screw the mounting bolt on.

Horn is awesome, works flawlessly and is very loud, had occasion to use it about a month ago to warn cager who looked about to turn into my lane and he heard it loud and clear, he kinda jumped in his car giving me the impression it was truly loud enough to be effective. Give it a go, total install time 15 mins and that includes taking off the old one removing the rubber bushing and other pieces, folding the metal strip in half and putting the new one on.

Have a pic in my album if u wanna check it out.

Thanks heaps Garry, Nippys confirmed mine has just been sent off.

Rudeboy. The sebel magnum looks good. I bought the Sebel compact like Doneyhanger and O2S3.

I took the risk of issues fitting it for the extra power and high and low range horn. I live right in the middle of Sydney and the city drivers are renowned nationally for their stupidity and lack of awareness of other objects.

O2S3 thread showed it could be fitted neatly via a bracket

Did you use the relay or just connect it straight to the existing connections?

I inquired about the need to install a relay and generally posted that question around to folks on the 'other' forum. I was told that is no biggie, just an "easy as pie" straight swap. I figured I'd give it a go and if I had any issues I'd put a relay switch in afterward, well as of today, no problems whatsoever. I'll keep my eye on it but so far it is flawless.
