Put this on today and it sounds awesome compared to stock can. The clamp to header pipe leaked slightly, dont know if this would effect performance, but used some sealant which stopped it. Have a friend with an 02 and his pipe leaks as well. Need to do the clamp up extra tight! Now to have it remapped.

It is 'normal' for most owners, but make sure they actually put the latest remap on there. I've got 12k miles on mine and with the latest and greatest map my dealer threw on, the bike doesn't pop under decel at all.

My bike did it all the time when I had less miles on it, even after remapping with tuneboy on a dyno it still popped really loudly when going from accelerating throttle to 0 throttle.

Thanks for the info on the Rizoma mirrors. I think I had better wait till spring for them. How long did it take you to get them, shipping cost and did you have any difficulty ordering from the company? Great lighting on the bike picture! Makes me wish I had a red bike.

Looks good! Got the same can & remap on my S3. It pops a little on decel too, but I kinda like it.

Here's mine:

Nice pic, nissn1! Geez, those red '04's are so gorgeous... :-D

Mine (with the new map) pops a bit on the overrun...I love it!

I'm interested in that can but wonder what it does to your footroom. Does your right heel end up resting on the pipe?

I had that problem on a Ducati 900 and found it pretty distracting.
