Anyone cut down the stock handlebars?

Looks like you could cut about an inch off both sides...

I wondered the same thing. Don't see why not. The controls probably have locating holes that would need to be drilled.

I took about 3/4" on each side of my 05---it's a good stance/feel--no prob with the controls. However i did lose a bit of stability(head shake) on hard accelerations on occasion.
