The annual
International Motorcycle Showis in Seattle this weekend. Attendance was great this AM, maybe the biggest turnout I've seen at this event. A few factories were absent, notably KTM and Triumph.
As someone who does tradeshows for my employer, I know how the bang/buck ratio can be iffy at these things. I also know what bastards venue reps, promoters etc. etc. can be. But when all your competitors show and you bow out, I don't think it sends a good message. It certainly can take you off the radar of prospective buyers.
Bummer, too, as I wanted to see the new 675, the Scrambler and get another peek at the Tiger (which my dealer rarely stocks).
