Has anyone put the arrow exhaust on their 05 or 06 speed triple?
http://www.arrow.it/eng/ricercaprodo...pro.asp?id=767

Today I was at my dealer and I was ready to buy the titanium race exhaust, with the 1 into 2 mid-pipe but when I looked at the mid-pipe and the instructions I noticed it does not come with a connection point for the O2 sensor. The kit comes with a resistor, so that the system runs open loop instead of closed loop once you put this exhaust on. I was planning to have the dealer load the map for the Triumph TOR slip-on.

Has anyone run this exhaust or any other exhaust on the 05 or 06 S3 open loop? Did you have any issues?

I have a power commander on order for my bike. It gets rid of the O2 sensor. Probably your best bet for getting a good map on the bike.

I talked to the person at PJ's in Albuquerque and he said that the bike is running great with the Arrow exhaust system without the O2 sensor. He is running the Triumph TOR map. I'd post the pictures he sent me but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

I saw posted somewhere, maybe on the power commander site, that the closed loop control only works below 3000 rpm and moderate throttle opening anyway. The only time I'm at the rpm is sitting at a stop light.

Below 3000rpm and under 40% throttle opening so hardly at all. There is no great benefit in removing the sensor.
