You may also want to inform your dealer that is how your want your pdi test ridden as that first ride is probably the most critical per the article.

This is old news, very controversial, and completely unproven. No hard numbers back this up, only this guys claims about his "300 bikes."

It's just one guys opinion. Please treat it like that.

I did nothing but engine braking and modulating my speed on the 30ish mile trip home from the dealer when I first got my bike. I never kept the RPMs at a constant speed and was constantly either shifting, accelerating, or engine braking.

After dynoing my bike with the TOR CF HM can and a K&N with stock gearing I got 113hp and 69.7tq. I still need to get another dyno run in to see how the numbers have changed with the 17/45 combo. I imagine the gearing will drop hp while increasing torque, but thats just a guess.

Not so sure ,i know a friend who thrashes every bike he has ever had from the word go ,and they definatelyseem quicker and he has never had any probs,saying that he only holds on to them for about a year. :wink: :wink:
