I just received the Triumph High Level Carbon Silencer for my 2004 Speed Triple today. The box listed the Part # as A9600109. I then noticed that the For Off Road Use Blah, Blah label had the part # as A9600120 engraved on it. That got me curious so I started looking at pics of S3's with the Triumph High Level Carbon Pipe installed and noticed that there seems to be two variations of the pipe. Looking at these links one variation seems to look a little different than the other between the can and the pipe coming from the engine. It seems like one of the variations has two clamps (one hidden behind the label) and the other only has one. If you can blow up the pics it's easier to see.

Which pipe does everyone have? What part # is on your pipe? Please respond, if I have the wrong pipe I need to return it . Thanks.

all i can tell you from my experience is that the 02-04 high pipes are the same which have a clamp fitting to header pipe and pre 02 has a spring clip type of fitting. I am buying a high pipe soon from a friend that has an 01 speed triple as he was sent the wrong pipe, correct part number on box but inside was the high pipe for the 02-04 model so i am getting it for a good price ($600 au.)

I'm having a similar issue with a pipe I bought from a 98 S3 that should fit my 99 model. Dealer says I have the right pipe but I'm having a very difficult time getting everything to line-up properly.

I also need the rubber grommet that goes on the exhaust bracket. I don't have the original that came on the bike and will need to buy one to install the pipe properly.

Can anyone post a close-up pic of a 97-01 hi-mount exhaust? Or better yet, email it to me? Thanks! :???:
