I was wondering if anyone has removed the Tack and speedo and replaced it with an after market unit.

I ride without a flysreen and hate that instrument custer. I am looking to replace it with maybe two smaller chrome bucket type units.

Anyone try this or have any thoughts?

Hey, Let me know what you come up with. I like mine without the fly screen also. I would love to do away with the piramid? inst. cluster. I blacked out he frame and front of the tank cover. Looks awesome with the factory red paint. Crg bar ends are next. I also have a Lockhardt tank bra. Love my bike, and would not trade for a new one.

I like it- from the top view. Whats with the headlight? looks like something that would come out of a bad schwarzenegger movie. Let me know what you come up with... I'm still looking to repair my stock one and would like different/cheaper options

Yeah, it's cool looking. But you'd also need to add some kind of speedometer and odometer to the mix. Looks like they added one from a bicycle.

Some of the Streetfighter sites sell the small speedo & odometer, seems to be the cool thing in Europe. Some of them are pretty cool with the info that they store.

Druid,

Thanks, that's what I'm looking for. Great place to start. Thanks again for the link.

Here's another one that might do the trick.

Micro Dash
