Just got my 3 into 1 system fro SMF Products. The can is from Eagle out of Germany. Very nice. The sound is excellent, not too loud and brings out the best of the 3!! The system looks cool as well, even with the rear pegs still on. I thought maybe the back of the left side would look odd, but I think having only one can sort of balances out the rear. Have a look!! For 405.00 US a very cool alternative for the Same-ol stuff. Performance wise, the bottom feels stronger and the throttle response is even better than the TORS. Install was cake... Think I need the tail tidy next, just need to decide which one... Very happy customer. Thanks Chris!!

Looks good. Now all you need to do is get a tail tidy like you mentioned. That mudflap just looks wrong.

Hey Geof, I like that system!!! Sweet looking, and I bet it sounds good too! I'm the one who purchased your TORS, have you had a chance to ship them yet??? I'm really looking forward to getting them, so I can hear this thing open up and run!!! Just shoot me an email with the tracking # when you get those things shipped out. Btw, where did you get your mirrors, and about how much did you pay???

Geof, could you give a more detailed description of the sound of these compared to the TORS. I'm right on the verge of ordering these and selling my TORS.

Here's mine, I made from scratch, bent some pipe, cut down an exhaust can from Devil and welded it all up.

Very cool BLS3!! I wish I had that capability.

ngapls: that is a tough question to answer. On one hand they are throatier, on the other a bit more resonanat but not stupidly so. I like the sound MUCH better personally and at WOT you can definately hear it coming!! Regular speeds are not too loud, and the tone is comfortable without ear plugs. The combination of the triple whine and the exhaust note is a hard-on!!

There is also a little baffle that can be used to change the tone a bit. I have not tried it though.

Hey Geof3, did you take out the metal tube baffle that was in the exhaust? I just mounted the thing but haven't managed to get the bike to the dealer for the off-road download.

Did yours work out of the box with that download?

Thanks

The guys said to run it with the baffle out and the TOR's map. If you run it with the baffle in run it with the stock tune.

With the TOR map it seems to be doing great. Very little to no popping on overrun, very smooth throttle. And one KILLER sound a WOT (anytime actually)... I'm really liking mine so far. If the weather gets cooperative around here for the weekend, I'm going to get mine dynoed to check and see if I'm having any issues with richness or anything...
