Finally cleaned and lubed the chain. It was WAY overdue. :(

I have not done anything to it since Saturday. Rode it, washed and lubbed the chain.
Sunday evening the snow started and snowed all day yesterday. Did not get much accumulation so it will be gone soon enough. Got maybe a couple inches.

We need the moisture, but it would have been better to get some rain ;)

Sorted the mess that the PO created when he installed the LSL clip ons. Front end wiring was all over the place!

Installed new 520 chain and sprockets. 735g lighter than the stock bits, and the black sprocket and gold chain look pimp on the rear wheel!

Tomorrow I install my new Lithium battery. Weight savings so far: 14.2kg or ~31lbs. Once my new LSL single headlight gets here, that number should be up over 35-36lbs. Then just wait till my carbon bits get here....

I installed OES rear frame sliders, the fronts will go one when I muster up the courage to cut the radiator shroud. I installed the front axle sliders as well, also OES. And finally I installed some R&G bar end sliders, which didn't come with directions.

A side note to anyone installing those bar sliders. Loosen the Allen bolt so it's sticking out a 1/4 inch or so past the stock bar slider then lightly tap the bolt directly on the head with a small hammer, thus pushing the Allen bolt into the handle. The Allen bolt threads into a metal wedge that sucks up into the bar end and expands the bar end until it doest move. I learned that completely by accident (after completely mauling one stock bar end with pliers :p )

A Kriega US-10 Bike pack is also in the mail
