Can any UK boys (or girls) tell me how much they paid for their 6000 mile service. And what did you get for your money?

Cheers

MH

What they said! But also check fasteners for tightness, as the morons that assemble these bikes sometimes forget that people could die from their forgetfulness.. :hammer:

Dont I feel dumb, I paid for the $300 oil change ($260 w/ included state inspection to be exact).

What about issues with the 2-year warranty? Perhaps I'm associating my bike too closely to my car where all scheduled services (exept oil changes strangely enough) are exclusively performed at the dealer so as to keep my warranty valid without issue.

Am I being unnecessarily to strict and spendy?

rude,

As long as you keep receipts for supplies/parts purchased and records of when you did the services your warranty will not be voided.

Hello Chaps
Has anybody paid a UK dealer to do the 6000 mile service?
Cheers
MH

Thanks for the other points but here in UK a dealer stamp is essential....

Orrel Motorcycles, Orrel near Wigan.I paid around £120 for that essential dealer stamp to protect the 2 yrs warranty. I expect to have to do the same for the next more expensive service.

I paid around $300 for the 12k service at Northcoast Motorcycles in Perrysburg up here near Toledo, OH. Everything was within spec so I'm thinking I'm just going to do the 24k service myself since my warranty will probably be up by then.
