I'm new to the modern triumph scene. I've grown up with old British bikes but have been riding Japanese sportbikes. I recently purchased a '98 Speed Triple and need help finding parts. The bike was knocked over and the brake lever broke off. I've been trying to find somewhere other than the Triumph dealer to buy the part. None of the companies I'm used to dealing with have Triumph parts. Can anyone help?

Perfect excuse to replace the levers with Pazzoracing or CRG levers. I have the short black/silver anodized levers and I love em. Pazzoracing.com

As I recall, the brake lever is identical to a Kawasaki item, although I don't remember which bike it's off of. Run down to a dealer that has used bikes and look around.

Many of the ancillary items on your Triumph are OEM on some Japanese bike, and it only takes some homework to figure out which one to tell the bozos behind the parts counter to get them to give you the right thing.

We really need to start a new thread with a long list of all the cross-compatible parts like for USD front fork conversions, levers, brakes, etc etc.
