Loud Pipes Save Lives

Are the after market pipes for a S3 955i really as loud as some say they are???

I hear it described as hellacious and "you'll go deaf" or the harley guys are going to be jealous.

Does anyone have an aftermarket pipe they use that won't break windows but, still sounds bad?

Triumph race cans sound great and are not too loud.In fact they only rasp at full throttle opening,so be sensible in built up areas and you will be ok.
