OK, went bike show at NEC a couple of weekends ago and drooled over all the bikes on the Triumph stand, as did my GF who likes the look of a bonny, However I was having a chat to the triumph people on the stand namely regarding the clocks/electrics. Aparently was a problm with the clock supplier but that has been sorted. However I explained that whilst riding along recently both bulbs started varying in brightness then blew out at the same time on both lights. This was scary because it was at night and there were no street lights. The parking bulbs were still lit though anyone else had this. ('05 S3)? The guy on the stand said it was very unusual to have both bulbs blow at the same time.

The bulb on my left headlight has went out twice since I bought the bike in April. (11,000 miles total). Both times about 900 miles into a long multiday trip. The other bulb is still fine. Maybe that's why the bike has two headlights.

It's a loose ground. I had the same thing, though I was landing (don't ask)

Really? It would be nice to fix this problem. Where approximately was the ground connection that was loose?
