Any qualms with your luggage locker tankbag? How solid is the gas cap mount? Is there any chance of damaging it by applying pressure to the trailing edge of the bag (leaning on it). I don't want to accidentally torque the gas cap mount off.

Did anyone order their bag with the optional Lexel waterproof material? How durable is it?

I got a luggage locker. It is badass.

My only little complaint is I wish it had been built with a hard angle taper, because it catches wind if it is mostly empty (I have always had hard luggage that was more aerodynamic).

Asside from that, it performs exactly as advertised, great bag. :upthumb:

I got the standard material, and it is a very solid mount. I carry heavy things in it, wheelie about 10 times a day and have no worries about it hurting anything. They way it is built, there not much leverate for your body lean to damage it, the lever is all out in front of the tank mount, not behind it.

I'm still waiting on mine. They say they ship within 24hours
if in stock and if not it's shipped in a week, I paid for mine
on 5/22 and I emailed asking on status and got a canned response saying to call them, I did and got an answering machine.

So far I'm not impressed.

Have both the luggage locker commuter tank bag... great bag and it's everything Les from Luggage Locker said it would be.... and I also have the Elite Seat Sack.... just got it yesterday and it's perfect. I now have enough storage for at least a 3 to 4 day trip. From what I can tell Luggage Locker is small private company. Craftsmanship is impeccable and so I think it takes a little longer to get in the mail. Both my items took about 7-10 days to reach me..... it's worth the wait... Plastic ring around the gas cap.... read the instructions.... snug.... don't over tighten or it will crack....
