Hehe... yeah, those are mine

im a bit concerned now that i paid for the new/upgraded lenses, and as you weren't able to get yours, I'm assuming I'm not getting mine. Im expecting a refund if that turns out to be the case... :/

I have been on his case , full time since the beginning of march . I got my refund Saturday night . But I think that since he does not have to gather goodwill in this community anymore , he won't be in a rush to make me happy and send my lights Monday morning .
So until I have them in my hands , I wait .

Not really sure how I feel about all the little accent LEDs..

Thinking I could have done a pretty sweet tiger headlamp transplant .....

It does not seem like it...it is .
I will be upfront, the better lighting aspect is only 40% of the reason I paid for this mod.
The the rest is to complete the look.

OK, as some on here know, I bought my Speedtriple from another member on this forum this past February. I just received in the mail a couple days ago the upgraded lamps that the PO sent in to SICKHID. All this time I have been unable to ride-for lack of headlights. This wasn't so bad since our weather is just beginning to warm up enough. Now that I got the lamps- I can see the quality of the workmanship that when into this mod. HOWEVER, I am having second thoughts about going to all the trouble to mount them_ running/hiding electrical wires, finding a place to mount the added electrical componets(ballasts), a location to drill a 3/4" hole to mount a round rocker type switch, etc. I don't think I would of bought into this lighting option myself. I don't really ride that much at night. I think the OEM would be just fine... less worry about reliability over the long haul too I am guessing...
What I am considering is selling these lamps and buying a new pair of OEM's
I dunno- I do like the unique sexy look of the new HID's but...
Just kinda looking for other's opinions, experiences and thoughts
