Well, I was playing around with wheelies when I came down hard one time and the bike flipped out.

My headlights went out. The main bulb died but the little ones at the bottom facing up sayed lit.

The computer reset, losing top speed, average miles per hour, everything other than actual milage (thank God).

No mechanical damage, and I wouldn't have thought it a damaging landing. It was rough,b ut nowhere near what I would have been concerned with on a normal basis.

So, it seems the bike is mechanically very solid, but a bit frail somwhere.

I turned it off and back on, and the headlights began working fine again. I would have thought it a ground or something, but I have opened her up and checked the connections before with no issues.

Anyone else seen this?

Ouch, thats a sign of a ruptured blinker fluid reservoir. You'll have to take off your rear subframe, fuel tank, both tires, and your oil pan to get to it.

Lol, actually, it sounds like you jarred a ground somewhere. Check your battery terminals and connections just in case something is a hair loose. The first sign of a loose ground is your headlights going dim or off, then your speedo reading zero, and also your motor sputtering at times. These are also the signs of a crapped out battery.

Actually, take off the cover of the speedo set and check that connection. I was toying with my fly screen and removed the rear piece to find the fitting a bit loose. It will cause all of the things you mentioned... But do the stuff Kuhlka said too just to be sure.
