Whats up guys, I just bought a 97 Speed Triple.

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/ruhlman/bike.jpg

minus the tape on the lights

Im pretty new to street bikes however I have rode dirt bikes since I was a little guy.

Is there any good info online (install guides) about these bikes?

I gotta say I love the yellow wheels!
And that exhaust would sure put the Harley riders in their place.
You should be able to find all sorts of links just wandering through all of the forums on this page but this is one of the more informative ones:

what exhaust???? dude, you're going to go deaf with that shorty pipe!! I'd suggest a carbon hi-mount to complete the package. The yellow wheels do give it that "angry bumble-bee" look though

Thanks fellas, The yellow wheels really do offset the bike. The pipe in the pic isnt the one I bought it with. Ill take a look what kind but I know its a high mount exhaust, but still pretty loud.

The guy I bought it from didnt include mirrors or as you can see front turn signals. Where can I pick up a mirror or 2? The bike does have an aftermarket handlebar so I dont think the stockers will work.

thanks

The easiest solution would be to put barends on. The small round ones from skyking and other companies charge an arm and a leg (like 80 bucks each). Napoleon barends are cheaper (more like 20 bucks each) and they have a better field of view. I have an extra set laying around. Let me know if you're interested.

oh well, the seat cowl is what you have over your passenger seat, just very cool and I hate to have passengers unless she is really really hot (well, my wife does not ride with me anyway !!!!)
