New to the multi-adjustable settings on the S3 and looking for a baseline. What is a good place to start for a 190 lb rider on an '02 S3?
Riding style: 1=touring to 10=man...who the hell was THAT! I'd be about a 6.875

THX!!!

I found this link to be a good starting point:

http://www.motodawcy.motormania.pl/2003/z_triumph.html

Keep in mind the ride is going to be pretty stiff, but it drastically improves the front end feel in hard cornering.

I took these off of the T955i.net website. They got them from Sportrider Magazine and are for an 02 Speed Triple.
Front preload:3 lines showing.
Front rebound: 1.5 turns out.
Front compression: 1.75 turns out.
Rear preload: 5mm thread showing.
Rear rebound: 1.5 turns out.
Rear compression: 1.25 turns out.
I too am about 190 and they seem to work pretty well, although I think I may increase the front preload a bit. With the lower bars I have on it I find the suspension bottoming out under hard braking.

I'm the same weight as you Pablo, and I found 2.5 lines showing for front preload to be perfect. Makes it kind of stiff for riding around town though.
