My local dealership is going to have a 10% off MSRP sale on all Triumphs on November 12th so for any of you looking to buy a new S3 or daytona, I'd haul your ass to northcoast Triumph in Perrysburg, OH and throw a down payment. The sale goes from 10-5pm. They are also doing 25% off all parts & accessories, labor, apparel, and even special orders.

Northcoast Motorcycles

They're a great dealership with great people working there.

Wish they were closer. Triumph of Chattanooga has the '06 S3 at $8,880 ALL THE TIME (better than 10%), but Triumph (and most other manufacturers) forces dealers to have the customer sign the papers IN PERSON. That wipes out any price advantage they may have and then some.
Again, wish those guys were close to home

You guys can get Triumphs for under msrp??? You guys are lucky... In AZ it's msrp or nuthin' and I don't think they sell enough to be such hard a**es, but they are.. this is Kawazukiondamaha and Harley mecca... and you still can't get a deal on a Triumph... They are as bad as Harley stealerships...

I live in Gilbert, Az and happened to snag a Black 06 Triple for $8999.00 from the Tucson Dealership. It was however an ebay auction for a new scoot. Still, I know they had another one on the showroom floor and maybe if it is still there they might deal a bit. (It was yellow) I know what you mean about the other valley dealers though, no bargaining with them. I was looking at the same bike at AZSBK in Chandler and they made no attempt to come down on the price. Goodluck

Yeah I have a deposit on the D675 with AZSBk/Cycle Moto and they won't budge, and they weren't receptive to be switchin' to a Speed Triple instead, so I think I'll just stick with the D675... I can always get the Spped Triple in a few years, when my wife gets comfortable enough with riding and we can share the 675.. but I'll keep the Speed Triple to myself.. lol...

That's a pretty good price, and at least much closer to home than the others. Best price so far is $9,500.
Gilbert is farther away than Albuquerque from El Paso, and I understand AZ charges you tax no matter where you're from. Then you have to pay it again in TX, and ask for reimbursement in AZ. Not worth it, especially when Alb delivers.
Glad you had a heck of a deal, but I don't understand the motivation of dealers to sell so cheap when they have a lot of 'free' (included in the cost, to be more precise) floor time before being charged interest. Although if Triumph is like BMW, who makes you buy the bike after floor time is up, then I understand.

PragB,
Goodluck with the 675, I'm sure you'll be happy. From what I have read so far and seen, it looks like a great ride, just not a naked. When I got my s3 in Tucson, I spoke with the GM and it sounded like this 06 was a replacement for an ordered 05 that never made it, so they wanted to clear it out because a Triumph Rep was coming to the store soon. I would guess they need to make it look like they are moving the stock because I have heard Triumph is a stickler on sending new bikes to the dealerships and basically they send one after you sell one, especially when you are a newer dealership such as the one in Tucson..........
