Has any one faired a speed triple???

I was looking at some of the generic body work and was wondering how the daytona's body work mounts and if its possible to transopse it to the S3's???

Any ideas?

Can you do that with the Daytona 955i bodywork??? I was thinking the same thing as Sharkskinz sells nice bodywork.

Anything can be accomplished with a welder, a bender, and a little patient creativity.

The real question is, how much money are you willing to spend on a daytona/sprint bodywork kit or are there other alternatives to be found on the net which could be modified to fit and still look good...

Yeah you don't really need a full fairing for wind protection anyway. I rode my fiance's Sprint ST all day today and was getting wind buffetting left and right. I think the clip-ons and short stock screen actually make that bike less comfortable than my S3. However, with risers and a good touring screen it'd probably be a decent long-distance cruiser. I think it'd look pretty arse on an S3 though.

Get a good Manx or Roadracing fairing if you want wind protection and still look cool on your S3. Get a full faired sport bike if you want that.

While seeing Frankenstein bikes may be fun and interesting, you're going to piss away a lot of money trying to hang a full fairing on a naked bike.

If you're a daytona rider who wants a 1050 Daytona, thats a whole different story.
