Ok I just got most of the way done with the tail bob on my 04 S3 just need to cut off the fender now:

I installed some EYE loops to hook cargo hooks and saddle bag tie downs on as well while I had it all apart.

Before:

After:

Eye Loops

1. remove the rear Cowling, blinkers and little license plate holder and light.

2. make the holes a little larger around that the little cover around the brake light and mount your blinkers there.

3. move the license plate holder down to the next set of holes and mount the license plate light in the old license plate holder holes.

4. mount your license plate from the bottom and put it all back together.

Thats it pretty straight forward.

now I just have to cut off the excess plastic and Im done (Its 4 Am here little late to fire up the drill for any amount of time and the hand saw just was not doing a great job.) it takes about 30 mins to an hour to do and once you figure out how the plastics come off your more than half way there.

Simple Simple Simple and I think it looks pretty good.
