I finally found some foot pegs that don't suck

They are for a Honda cbr but they fit PERFECT, color choices are
silver, red ,blue and black.
They even marked 05 Speed Triple on the box after I fitted them.
I dont know if the pillion pegs work, I removed them.

Best $40 I have spent on this bike

Those are nice. I just visited the site. Are you saying that they marked "05 Speed Triple" in the pull down box on the site? If not, which CBR model and year did you buy?

Might be a good item for a group buy.

I bought an awesome set for my BMW, but don't remember the brand; they were $120 for the set, however.
What I liked about those is the lack of a 'lip' at the end of the peg, which I don't like at all. I like to move my feet around, and that lip prevents that; balancing your foot on top of that lip wouldn't be fun. Another bad feature of those pegs, which are the same as mine, is your foot slides a lot, especially when wet. They need to have 'spikes', like stock aluminum pegs on sportbikes, to really hold any kind of footwear in place. I'll scrutinize them a lot closer next time I buy a set. They look nice though. The reason I bought them for my BMW is they lowered my legs 1/2", while increasing cornering clearance by 1" (no feelers though); nice compromise. These also seem to increase cornering clearance, but don't think it's really needed on the S3.
As a comment, the pegs need to be installed at the angle your foot rests on them, so the angled cut won't be parallel to the floor, like on the website's picture.

They marked 05 speed triple on the pulldown box, and the package just had stamped on it "Honda CBR"

call them, (Eastern Time) there is a is a young friendly fellow that helped me fit them,
he LOVES my bike!, he will know exactly which set to send.
I don't know his name. :???:

The lip is very slight on these, I don't care for a lip either but I do like a slight nub for locating purpose...( like the nub on "5" on most phone and remote buttons)

as far as grip???.... :yayyy:  :chug: :upthumb:

The peg sticks straight out of the bike at a 90 degrees ( My biggest concern )
The pitch is fully adjustable, by loosening a allen under the peg ( it also bolts the black part to the silver part in picture) allows you to set pitch angle so you can set the flat potion that your foot rests on, at any angle in relation to shifter, brake, or just riding comfort .
I have the top of the peg on mine tilted slightly foward, for riding comfort.

Also.... if the picture of the brake lever and the peg seem at different angles....
it's not the pegs  ...laid the bike down, the brake lever had to be re-adjusted with vise grips and a big screw driver, not perfect, but it works

Thanks Hairball. I love mine too, and since everything in life is usually a compromise, I much rather trade a bit of grip for looks, cornering clearance, leg room, and pitch adjustment.
I don't remember the S3 stock pegs, but if they're like my BMW with rubber, I'll change them immediately.
The good thing about those pegs is if you want to replace them (fall, grinding, etc), they're much cheaper if you already have the carrier (piece attached to the bike). As you said, one bolt and they're out in a heartbeat. Thanks again.

So anybody else want to go in on a group buy on these and see if we can't get them even cheaper (or free shipping, etc)?
