I purchased the pit bul reversable for the rear and would like to get one for the front sometime in the future. I am just not sure if I want to cough up the $$ for the tripple clamp one.
I think I will get the fork stand that I can buy the top for latter if I need it.
Anyone else go that route before?

Keep the rubber side down!

The last time we had the front wheel off we hoisted it with tie-down straps attached to a roof joist, & wrapped around the handlebars. Steadied with a floor jack & 2x4s.

Bars are now aluminum, so don`t want to do that again. No longer have a floor jack either. But I do have milk & orange crates, some strong strapping, & 2x4s.

I think the cut priced front stand is the same brand as my rear stand, which is abit "springy", but works non the less. They are very commonly for sale at most bike shops. Tho` "not the best", I think quite usable for the occassional short term. With precautions taken of course.

Nobody liked our use of a van front bumper & jack as a bead breaker either, but it worked.

Thanks for you concern, but DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE PIN DIAMETER.
