The site actually states 15 secs if its a little cold, IIRC those slightly cold temps are still much colder than what it actually is around me. And 5-10mins if its freezing out. With my previous battery that's what i was doing (leaving the lights on for about 5mins) but the result is the same.

Also I don't think its the charging cause as stated it starts fine after a ride. Or even if its been sitting overnight but gets started in the afternoon instead of morning.

I have been having the same problems as everyone,
What do the Triumph dealers think about this?
I might go to a dealership on a realy cold day and see how it starts up, see if it has the same problem

Yay, the cold weather is back and my bike is now doing this again.

I have noticed that the bike will start first go with a little open throttle. I know you shouldn't use the throttle to start an FI bike but was curious to see if it helped. Is there any adjustments I can make to the tune to help it start first time. I assume opening the throttle is letting in more air and leaning the mixture slightly?

so, it looks like the people that are having this hard start issue, are mostly running the Arrow 3-1 tune..

The bike should not require any throttle at start up.
