Hi all,
Anyone know whether the default 52mm Woodcraft clip-ons at the following link are at the proper angle for the 05/06 Triple? Are the bolts accessible?
http://www.woodcraft-cfm.com/Scripts...dproduct=17281

Also, do the CRG bar-end mirrors attach to these directly or do they require adapters? I asked Woodcraft and was told the inside diameter of the bars (5/8") but I'm not sure what this means for the mirrors.
Thanks,
ZM

i just put skyking bar ends onto my harris clip ons. the i.d. of my bar tubes was meant to be 5/8, but the inserts were too large. john at skyking sent me some smaller ones and voila. i'm would hope that crg would do the same. if you haven't bought the mirrors yet, take a look at john's stuff on skykingproducts.com. good quality product and top bloke.

My last set of clip-ons hard a very small inner diameter so I just attached my CRG mirrors to the end of the bar. You'll have to move everything in about 1/4" though.

check out this thread, this was part of a discusssion about a month or so ago. There are pics you can view to see how all worked out and issues to circumvent.

The '05-'06 triple fork width is 52mm, the Woodcraft bar ends are fitted with solid hard plastic and the CRG mirrors can go on the outside surface of the bar or you can use tools (hammer, drill, etc) to take the hard plastic end out of the bar ends, or purchase hollow bar ends from elsewhere (like LSL's for example which the CRG mirrors go into the ends without issue and do not require the adapter pieces that the stock triple bars use.

some people stick with the stock mirrors but put extenders on them. Should be able to find those at www.jacklilley.com,

just hunt around. Rizoma's and MV Agusta Bratale S mirrors have also been used by others.

If I mount a CRG folding bar end mirror to the end on the bar (not using an adapter) will the mirror still fold in all the way without hitting the bar slider? And/or will the CRG mirror mount onto the stock bar end plug/slider? I only want one mirror but don't want mis-matched bar end plugs.
