Transparent Aluminum

You wouldn't need a low fuel light anymore!

So once again, Star Trek leads the way.

But I'd rather rely on the fuel gauge/odometer and spend my money on a transparent aluminum wind screen and helmet shield.

that would be nasty. A transparent helment. It would be an unpleasant site after a nasty (fatal) crash. Plus, your face would look perpetually "squished" inside a transparent helmet. Crazy matted up hair, etc. You are fired from the director of marketing for my helmet company. :-D

I was thinking more along the lines of see-through riding apparel... body armor with amazing levels of protection, and yet it doesn't hide the results of all those workouts at the gym.

However, you might have to pre-screen potential buyers for aesthetic appeal; in which case, I wouldn't qualify to own it.

I like the see-thru tank idea. Why not make the fairings and engine blocks and heads outta the stuff too. Would be cool to ride along and look down at the cylinders blasting away...

Yeah, sea-through engines would make maintenance checks a lot easier too. You'd be able to check the oil level and such with just a glance.
