this may be not interesting to most, but I just wonder if anyone has any experience riding here in NY, especially around NYC and Lond Island, and what they think about speeding. By speeding I mean exceeding the speed limits (note that on LI they are all still at 55mph, those bunch of retards!) by decent amounts: say making at least 80-90mph, with short peaks to over 100mph. I do not consider this crazy or imprudent, in fact, for the most part I consider it safer than riding at 60mph. The assumption here is that a normally intelligent person would only venture in the higher speeds when conditions permit it.
But anyway my point here is about cops: do they tend to give us a break unless we really over do it ? do they pick us up just as easily as the pick cars ? Clearly our lights always on are pretty attractive during day light, but I just don't know. Thx for any hints !
