Hi all

considering the new S3 and just a few Q's.

Fly screen, worth the money? Does it actually do anything aerodynamic or just look good and relieves you of more money.

Now I know that you shouldn't really pillion this beast. But has anyone done this in any comfort or without having a pillion with 18" legs and one buttock? Any mods out there?

Lastly if I want to take the beast away are there any panniers soft / hard that will do the job?

Don't worry I'm not after an ST, it would just be nice to get the full lowdown on the options.

thanks

The fly screen works.. I think it takes about 20mph off the perceived speed as measured by my neck muscles.

I agree. The fly screen does divert some windblast (besides making the front end look good and your wallet feel lighter). As for the backseat, my wife swears it isn't too bad except for the height of the footpegs. There was a posting here in the last month where someone tried reversing the passenger pegs and came up with much more humane ergos (sorry, I couldn't find the link).

I ride with my friend on the back all the time and she LOVES it. Of course, she is 5'4" and 100lbs. Nice little backpack!
