Just picked up my '06 S3. Learned it had been ordered for another person but he got his second recluse driving ticket in 6 months. The Dealer, MillerBuilt, in Lynchburg, VA used the bike as a demo. It had 100 miles on the odo when I tried it and said I'd take it.

Bike with bypassed cat. converters, extended mirrors, tank protector, fly screen and shop manual was < $9600 out the door - of course I have to pay taxes, registration and title fees.

The price also includes the 600 mile service and a 20% discount on any accessories for the first year.

The 110 mile ride home, NW of Harrisonburg, VA, was a joy What a great bike!!!

I also can not say enough about the quality of the service at MillerBuilt. They sell only Triumph, care about the bikes and treat the customer with respect and very fairly. Oh, and if your bile is tied up for a day Bill gives you a loaner bike. If you live in the area I highly recommend the store.

I think if your bile is tied up, you got bigger problems than needing a loaner! :-D :hammer:

Did you take 33 west from Harrisonburg to break the bike in? That's a nice road. If I lived in Harrisonburg I'd be out there everyday.

I'm concerned about the recluse driving tickets in VA. They nail you before you even leave the house! With a bike like that, everyone knows you're up to no good.

Seriously, we kid. Enjoy and welcome!

I'm planning to go that way Sunday. Actually, probably 42S to 250 W to Monterrey. Then 220N to Franklin and 33E home. Nice ride and 220 is a chance to relax.

Been stuck at home as we just had the driveway paved and the contractor was digging and puring concrete over 2 weeks. The drive had been gravel, is steep and tended to wash out if we had a heavy rain. Now all we have to worry about is winter freezing/snow on the concrete letting us slide into the ditch next to the drive. We live on the Western slope of the hills that define the Shenandoah Valley - nice view but a bit much in winter.

Thanbks to all who welcomed me. This is a very friendly lsit.
