Can anyone recommend a good online tire vendor?

I went here...no tax..no shipping...woo hoo!!

http://www.swmototires.com/

In the future though..I'm probably just going to use cycle gear..since their tires prices are about the same..and they'll mount them cheap when you buy their tires....

I wouldn't recommend buying tires on line,
(1) Who is going to mount them? If you take them somewhere to be mounted they will normally charge you about double what they would if you bought the tires from them, which would probably take care of any money you saved on the purchase.
(2) Who is going to warrantee them and what kind of grief are you going to have to go through to get it handled?
(3) Who knows how old the tires are or how they have been stored? And would you believe them if they told you?
Cycle Gear is a good recommendation, so is Eastside Motosports.

Thats a good argument for buying locally. However, I couldn't accept the huge difference in tire price at the local shops vs. the online stores.
I just bought a set of Avon tires at discountmotorcycletire.com. They had to order them through the distributor before shipping to me, so they were probably as new as any tire that would be stocked locally.
Before ordering, I located a shop that will mount them for a reasonable price. (in many cases that may be difficult to find) At the end of the day, the overall cost will be $70-$80 less than if I would have bought the tires locally.
If I have a warrantee issue, I may have problems, but here's hoping that won't happen!

Regarding warranty service, I had a bad avon St45 front for my FJ, bought from Discountmotorcycle tires. Avon handled the warranty by email, except that I had to take the tire to a LBS for tread measurement and have them make a phone call to Avon. Avon sent a replacement asap, no hassle. Good deal!!
BTW, I just dealt with SWMoto and they were first class.

www.ronayers.com is a good one, ships fast, competitive prices. You might want to look into mounting and balancing them yourself. Big savings to be had when your talking 2-3 sets a year.
