So I read all the old posts in this forum to learn all I could about the Speed Triple. You guys said they handled great, torqey, smooth, etc etc. I took the first ride, about 300 miles, today on my new, to me,2002 Speed Triple and you guys were sure right. I think I'm in love!
PS For sale, nice black 2002 naked Suzuki sv 650.

I was right?

Really?

Would someone call my mother and tell her? She won't believe me.

I think it's time for something special: No frozen pizza tonight!

Welcome to the fold. So where're you at in the 'couve?

Mr. Crashmastered, I like your little gal hugging the blue s3. My color. That's the way I feel about the bike right now. I live about a mile northeast of the new Costco.
O.O.

I have had my 2000 triple for about a month now and have cleared 1,100 miles on it. MY poor subaru STI is getting pissed at me because it isn't "feelin' da luv" right now. This bike is the best balance between fast and function!

Yeah, pity that little gal doesn't exist.

I actually live in Ridgefield at present. If this aquatic weather ever lets up, shoot me an email and we'll go for a run. I need to burn the last of the rubber of my tires so I don't feel so bad about buying new ones.

You should keep the SV-650 for track days. Or for humiliating liter bikes on sunday rides.
