Great pics of the fabrication on your website. I got a good laugh out of the tire repair kit designed as a nitrous system. Nice work!

Very nice!

Where did you get your indicators and how much were they?

Thats exactly the CF tutorial I've been looking for. I don't quite understand 8 and 10 of the aluminum tutorial. Babelfish isn't a very good translator at times.

So you didn't use release agent or gel coat at all? Those are the two items I thought I still needed to get working in CF.

The release agent is household liquid furniture wax (step 2), liberally applied to the alu mold.

"8: Fill any holes with a mix of finely chopped fiberglass and resin."

"10: For finishing, glaze the pieces with a layer of epoxy (warmed in a bain-marie until it's very runny - very important).

"But this technique isn't ideal as the finish is shiny but irregular...

"So, you can varnish after sanding with polyurethane varnish (shiny finish guaranteed)."

Note on the 'Matos' page, he says:

"Polyurethane varnish - after testing a great number of products the verdict is the following: avoid products with a hardener. Finally, the best is the simplest, it's Syntilor clear satin polyurethane varnish."

I love the dual position rear fender! I'd love to lose the OEM rear fender, but I'd rather not end up with muck up my back in the wet - the fender of yours would be just the ticket. Beautifully done bike overall!
