Hi Everyone! My name is Mark, and after two trips to the desert and a nasty divorce, I've just bought myself a new toy in tho form of a brand new yellow 2005 Speed Triple. Unfortunately, due to this nasty New England weather, I haven't even been able to pick it up from the dealer yet.

I've been riding street and dirt for 14 years including 3 years of roadracing, and some recent forays into offroad racing. This will be my first big bore as well as my first naked streetbike, and I'm really excited about it. Now that I think about it, this will be my first non-Ninja streetbike. Sorry, but the four cylinders stopped being fun after having an affair with a buddy's 996.

Now for the questions: Do you have any recomendations for Saddlebags for this bike? How about frame sliders/crash bobbins? And what about a rear hugger -- Triumph or aftermarket? Thanks!

It's best to do a search. Most of these questions have been answered several times.

http://www.luggagelocker.com/ is a good tank bag.

The triumph hugger is now available, in black only, but it on a heavy backorder.

yes, you can get crash bobbins. Put them on the mounts closer to the radiator, or you will hit them with your knees if you use the back mounts.

Congratulations on your purchase!

I use all triumph assessories on mine but I don't think they actually make saddlebags for the 05S3. Tank bag yes. Hugger is of good quality and at first I was disapointed not to get in colour match but on reflection it looks great in black.
Hope the weather improves and you get out on it soon.
Its been great here today so just fitted a new tyre for the weekend which promises to be good weather wise.
Ray.
