Thanks a lot Rainewb; awesome looking bike. I'll skip the belly pan, but will definitely buy the cowl, fairing, and those grills.
Do you have the contact info where you bought the grilles? I always put fiberglass screen material on my cars and bikes when new to protect the radiators, but it wouldn't look good on this bike, so your grilles are the perfect solution. Did you secure them with safety wire or just tie wraps? Thanks for your help buddy.

Hi ELP_JC
Thr radiator grilles came from http://www.mikesgrilles.co.uk/ the rad grill is secured by stainless safety wire and oil cooler grill is by heat resistant cable ties which come with the grilles.
They cost me £44.00 which included the postage.

Great choice. I hope you enjoy it.

My bike popped on stds and Art cans; When the remap was done the popping stopped. Shame really as I thought it was cool.

Hey RaineWb, thanks a lot for the info; will order them immediately after I buy the bike.

Monkeyhanger, great looking bike man. What frame sliders, cans, and rearstand (is it reversible?) do you have? And are you talking about the 'off road' map, or the new map that supposedly is out there for stock bikes? Hope the latter. Didn't want to mess with exahusts. And how louder is the motor with a slip-on system?
Thanks man.

Sorry ELP for the delay in coming back to you. Alas the cans and crash bungs are from ART who have now gone out of business. The rearstand is Triumphs own, i've never tried it on the other side as its designed to let you take the wheel off on the LHS. My map is the one that Triumph use for their own off road cans. Its much better than std. No low speed pops and bangs though.... a bit sad really as I quite liked the over run noise. Without baffles they are very loud; with baffles 95dba (just legal in the UK)
I'd recommend cans as they are a great sound and do give more grunt....

No problem on the delay buddy. How much for the 'off-road' cans and tune? Can they be 'upgraded' rather than having to buy them and ditch the stock ones?
Thanks man.

Hi Again.
The cans were £600 in Carbon. The map was £38. They do come with a removable baffles (as most others do now) I think with the triumph ones you have to choose std or off road and map to suit. I'm pretty sure they dont have a removable baffle.

ps
Which part of the world are you from? US / UK ?

The US buddy; El Paso, TX. The westernmost tip of the state; border with Mexico and New Mexico. No twisties for 130 miles each way; dusty desert all around.

Since I like the stock cans' look, I was hoping to 'upgrade' to them, but since they're labeled 'off-road', I'm sure you have to buy them, like any other cans. I'll probably leave the bike alone if the backfiring is gone when I test ride my future bike.
Thanks for all your help.

I like most of the 05+, but that bellypan is just kind of pointless looking. The previous year actually looked like it would protect the underside of the motor from stones and such and all the scratches on it say as much, but the 05+ one just looks kind of whimpy.
