Hi everyone, well last week I decided to install my new Triumph Rack/ Grab Rail which meant I had to remove the underseat bodywork...no biggie so far. Anyway, it seems the Diagnostic (OBD) connector must have come loose from its anchoring point (if any) because I found it dangling about near the rear brake fluid reservoir (unharmed) thank GOD!!! So where should this connector reside normally? I'm assuming it shouldn't dangle about, and maybe it had a proper home before I removed the body work.
But then again, I was dropped on my head as an infant so I can't be sure.....Any ideas? Thanks x 1,000,000. :hammer:

Thanks kuhlka, I was thinking of stuffing the connector and wire in there anyway...since the battery doesn't take up the whole box. I'm gonna go out and do that now, on my lunch half-hour.

The diagnostics connector fits onto a moulded vertical tongue just in front of the fuse box and slightly to one side, the alarm connector is adjacent to this moulding.

Thanks Bob955i, now my Diagnostic Connector has a proper home, though the battery box does make a nice temp location...Cheers!!

The battery box is where I always keep all my connectors. Then again, my cables aren't so long (that I've noticed) that they'd get loose and hang like you mentioned.
