I dont think you'll have much luck, it's been my experience since reading this board for about a year and owning my 05 s3 for about 5 months that nobody who buys this bike, or at least VERY few in the US really care about performance much.
Mostly mid life crisis forty-somethings that bought it cause it looks tough and makes them look like they can actually ride.
Start a thread about a fly screen or some goofy bar end mirrors and you'll be swamped with responses.

Wow.. flame bait or what... Could it be that the performance out of the box is pretty dam good to begin with? Could it be that this topic has been discussed to death, and the general concensus is wait and see what is going to be coming out in the future? Especially given the addition of cans is a pretty minor boost, and until something significantly better than the TORS comes out no one wants to waste their cash? As this motor is so new, the manufactures have yet to produce anything for it of consequence. If you were to actually pay attention to the meat of articles here the old timers are all about performance mods. Perhaps they are just kids who can ride like Hayden and want to wring out there motors as much as possble. Surely, non of those guys are 40-something, who buy the bike cuz it's bad a$$ looking, but can't really ride... :hammer:
If you actually looked through the recent posts you would find a fairly reasonable discussion on the potential for engine mods on the 1050. Pretty much none, except for a complete exhuast system. NOT just a set of cans...
Now, to the guy with the guestion, that your post obviously did not help with...
The staintuned cans and rear crossover seem to be the most popular so far second to the TORS and factory remap. I looked into them, but didn't really like how they look overall. I prefer the look of the original cans. I went with the TORS personally. They sound great, but not overbearingly loud, the bike runs smoother with the new map (should get this either way). Also, adding aftermarket cans/exhaust voids the warranty. Not an option for me personally.
Oh, and I'm NOT fortysomething, the bike IS badass... and I CAN ride, and for me the bike kick a$$ just the way it is... Barend mirrors and all...
