i have been looking for clip-ons, and cant find any for the 05 S3. i bought a set of convertibars, but they didn't work. i tried all different sizes and it came down to i needed a 52mm. the 51 wouldn't slide on the fork and the 53 wouldn't tighten down. anyway i was wondering if any one knew where i could get a set to fit the 05S3?
thanks in advance!

I've got some for my '05 speed triple from:
http://www.lucas-bikersworld.com/en/...token/62222876
They have it in 54mm and sell a reductor to fill the gap.I have 7500 km with them and I am very satisfied. And you can also change the height of the bars as they have different risers size.
Cheers

52mm is the correct size for the '05 Triple!! I tried clip-on risers some months ago, they just wouldnt work w/ clearance. I had to go w/ std race style. Woodcrafts are the brand I went with. www.woodcraft-cfm.com, give em a go.

I'd also give Woodcraft a try since I had a set mounted for a time on my 03 Speed Triple. They're really well made and I found out after that my shoulders didn't like the 10 degree drop which is perfect for racing but not the longer rides I'm used to. You can however switch the clip on mounts from right to left and that will basically make the bars level but still lower than stock. They're very reasonably priced considering they have a split perch which makes it easy to install and just a bit of clever cable re routing was all that was needed. Best Price I found was ordering direct from Woodcraft on their site. I'm trying to save for one of their front stands since they're easy to use and easy on the budget. Good luck with them

did you guys use the stock cables, or did they end up being too long?

stock everything, the throttle cable has some slack, not enough to get in the way but does kind of get tucked in there around the headlight/instrument panel mount when you turn to full left lock. be sure to mount throttle so that the cable goes over top of clip on, not on the bottom as I mounted, I'll rectify that tomorrow.

Again, no problems, no excessive cable slack just could be improved a bit with throttle cable going over top of clipon.

well i installed my woodcraft clip-ons. i rode around the block last night around midnight! on one hand it feels good and looks awesome. on the other hand it is VERY low!!! the cables should be shortened but not necessary. i am looking forward to a longer ride! i will try to post some pictures and a report after a ride...

rudeboy: the throttle cables are not a problem but they do get "squished" in there.
can you take a picture of how you remounted them to resolve this? "on top of the clip-on" i pm'ed you also

thanks!
