I have a recall notice on my radiator hose too. Early 2011 build. I'm getting it done as soon as winter break is over.

There's no impact mark so I don't think it's down to flying debris from the road. Wonder if it's a fault in the material i.e. internal stress just letting go after many heating and cooling cycles from the headlight bulb.

The lens is still water tight after blasting with a hose so I'm not too concerned about it. If water does eventually get in I'll change it.

Does anyone know if the lens glass can be bought as a separate item from Triumph rather than a whole headlight unit?
Just had mine replaced under warranty...

I also got my lenses replaced today on my 2011 model. They said there was also a recall on the radiator hoses so they changed them as well

Don't know if this has already been mentioned on the thread, but some good dealers (I don't know if this is standard practice for Triumph dealers in the UK, or elsewhere for that matter) here in the UK are offering a pre-end-of-warranty checkup to catch all the bits that might be wonky and repairable under warranty! My warranty ends next month, so I took the bike in for a checkup. I knew the lights were a recall on my early 2011 model and I've previously had the radiator hose done, but I was pleased for the reminder from my dealer!...

At the same time, I borrowed the new Street Triple R for an hour - oooh! that's a fun little toy!...

Mmm, that's a nice gesture from your Triumph dealer - just a pity they weren't giving you that extra piece of mind and giving you an extra year's warranty. Personally, I think a three year warranty would be welcomed by many Triumph owners (and it wouldn't do residual values any harm).

Just bought 2011 S-trip with 900 miles and 23 months of remaining warranty. I had read this thread before the purchase, so I asked dealer about Recalls. They ran my VIN and said no such bulletins. This is a very reputable Triumph dealer. Does anyone have a bulletin number on the lens and hose issues? Does the bulletin address all 2011 S3 in all countries?
Thanks

I was told to reference service bulletin #s 429 and 422. Not sure what number goes with what issue though
