Is the Triumph hugger available in the U.S. yet? I've seen several posts from people in Europe with them. Just wondering.

As of today, my dealer told a total of 80 US dealers still have them on B/O. You now only have one color choice. BLACK!

There is supposedly an aftermarket carbon fiber one that protects some below as well as above the swing arm. I haven't found them in the US yet though.

Anyone know where it can be acquired?

I saw a Triumph hugger at my dealer today, and I realised that when it is in position on the bike you can hardly see it.

I was leaning to the RaceComp CF (see picture), but I don't think I am prepared to spend $450 AUD on a beautiful CF hugger that will be well hidden by the pipes.

I bought the Triumph hugger and now that it is fitted I am well pleased with it. I am sure that it will do its job of protecting the shock and pipes.

RaceComp CF hugger

As we are the last to get anything new here in Australia I am sure that the Triumph hugger should be available in the US now.

Cheers

Here's a rather hasty picture of the triumph hugger but painted black.

Does anyone know the part number of the Triumph hugger? My local dealer denies all knowledge of it and the Triumph website still denies its existance too!

Part number: A9700165-##. It's on the US site under "Other". Also in the Accessories Pamphlet at dealer if they have one.
Triumph Hugger
They are not color coordinated any more just ABS Black I think.
My dealer said mine might be in tomorrow, maybe.
