Place your bike about two car lengths away from a wall and facing directly at it.
Make sure that both headlights face exactly forward.
Sit on the bike and keep it upright and get someone to measure the height from the centre of the headlights to the ground.
Mark a line on the wall corresponding to the headlamp centre to floor height you previously measured.
Switch on headlights and switch to high beam.
Adjust headlamps until the top of the high beam pattern falls on, or slightly below the line previously marked on the wall - this covers you, should you carry a pillion.
Job done.
Sotiris: The left light isn't aimed higher than the right - what happens, or should happen, is that both lamps, when on low beam, dip to the left due to the effect of the prism on the lens glass.
Headlamp misalignment is quite common on S3s - the dealers should check it before they sell the bike etc, but rarely do.
