So... did the TOR's today and got it remapped. Got a good 90 miles in on the way home... Love the sound. Awesome. Seat of the pants dyno... much better. The best part is the throttle response, much smoother in all gears and far less twitchy. I really like them. Great purchase, highly recommend.

Also did the Triumph rear end caps and the Hooligan Racing brake fluid reserviour, much nicer than the tupperware!! The rear caps are nice... :-D

Oh, also logged a new high score... 118 didn't want to push it much more, too windy and bumpy!! Goal is 140

Cool.

I just checked the Truimph.co.uk site, and they list Stainelss silencers for $500. I'm assuming these are the TORs, right?

What do you mean by smoother? Like softer response to twisting the throttle? I definitely don“t want that.

The throttle response on my bike was very "twitchy" almost on/off in some situtations. For instance, on a bump or something. The throttle response now is very smooth, and will resond to instant input, but not little blips every bump or otherwise. It is much better overall, at least on my bike. The thing will wheelie just about whenever you might want it too. So I quess a better way to put it is better overall control of small throttle adjustments. Either way, it feels much better, sounds WAY better and is a definate improvement to the drivability of the bike.

Geof3,

Excellent description. I'm hoping that others will say the same thing. I live in San Francisco and on hilly bumpy (crappy) city streets I do have some issues with "unwanted" throttle. Sometimes reminds me of when I was a kid on an RM/CR/KX 80 when you hit the power band. I love the power so far, but could do with a slightly less twitchy throttle response, esp in low gears.

Simple solution, get the new MAP. Tors or stock, get the new MAP. Yes, it's that good.

I have seen 137mph on 4th gear, I need to check it with my GPS, regardless, 140 is easy on the S3 (5th gear)

The rear end caps are the Triumph rear axle caps. They cover the rear nuts. The Hooligan reserviour is the billet BFR from Hooligan Racing. It replaces the tupperware BFR. The Hooligan part can be ordered on their website. And the rear end caps can be ordered from your Triumph dealer. The caps were 75 US and the res was 120... Pricy, but worth it to me...
