Ahh... no matter how much work you may do to your bike- everyone's still vulnerable to stuff like that. When I went to pick up my 95 from the owner, he had to have me come back a few days later due the the fact that he hit a pothole and put a nice tear into his rear tire and need to replace it. Good luck!
I've got you beat. I took on a roofing nail at 60 miles (and lost). Had to replace the rear tire. I've been riding for ten years and I've never had a flat.
Oh well. Stuff happens. I used it as an excuse to put a 190 on the bike instead of the stock 180. I plan on plugging the 180 to keep as a spare but I'll probably never use it.
