EVER TRIED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF A NONE EXSISTING REAR BRAKE. IVE MAY HAVE DONE IT. TAKE A MASTER CYLINDER OFF A VFR 800. A SMALL PLATE TO SPACE IT TO THE LEFT. HEY PRESTO, A BRAKE WHEN U BLOW ON THE PEDDLE LOCKS UP.

I usually spend most of my time trying to stay off of the rear brake.

THEN WHY DO THEY PUT ONE ON? PULL UP TO A JUNCTION WITH SOMEONE ON THE BACK. HIT FRONT BRAKE THE BIKE WILL DIVE FORWARD UNDER COMPRESSION. HIT BACK IT WILL EITHER SAG OR STAY LEVEL EITHER WAY SAID PASSENGER IS HAPPY NO BEING TOSSED ABOUT. NAIL ROUND A CORNER, ALWAYS TRAIL THE REAR BRAKE IF NEED TO ALTER SPEED AS IT WILL HELP TO GO ROUND THE CORNER. ANY WAY IT AIN'T HOW U RIDE IT WAS THE FACT IT WAS A **** REAR BREAK.

Pete, I have to admit that I'm having a hell of a time understanding what the hell you're saying. Oh, by the way, your "Caps Lock" button is down, you may want to fix that.

The brake is weak, but still very usable. It makes it really easy to modulate for trail braking through a turn. I actually have locked my rear (unintentionally) when I did a max braking effort one time. The rear had so little weight on it that it locked with little rear brake pressure.

I'm not sure I'd want a rear that locked every time my foot touched it on a sportbike.
