The best thing I've done to my 05 S3 is add the TORS and a new fuel Map. People who haven't done these mods don't know what they are missing.

I agree. Just got my TORs+offroad map installed about a week ago and the bike runs a lot better in low revs than with the stockers. Not sure if the max hp is that much higher, but now she runs much smoother and has a more bassy growl.

I wish I had bought them first thing, instead of all the anodised bits, speedohealer, sprockets and luggage stuff.

Triumph OffRoad silencers.

The silencers combined with the offroad map make your bike breath like it was designed to do, instead of how the environmental agencies want it to perform.

The TORS, new map, and keeping an eye on air pressure. I am running 34 front and 36-37 rear and it corners a lot better.

I notice that after 1200 miles or so the shifting is a lot smoother.

My only complaint is the way the headlights point at the sky on high beam. I love my S3. (second one)

Have fun!

TonUp,

Did you get your TORS at Nault's? Didn't happen to dyno it when you did the cans and map did you? I want to do this but refuse to lose any torque. Waiting for dyno numbers before I commit. What does set of the pants tell you?

thanks,

Martin

I couldn't power wheelie in second gear before the TORS and Map. Now I can very easilly. You want torque? There you go.

How much were the TORS and map to get installed?

I have the '06 and love it, but would consider the new cans for next spring if the difference is that dramatic.

I wish there was a list of what maps were installed on which model years somewhere where we could look at it. Anyone with an 06 made the switch yet?

Also- how are you finding the suspension in stock setup. I'm coming from a '99 Tiger, so the suspension as-delivered feels amazing to me- doesn't nosedive in a stop like the Tiger etc etc. But my housemate said it needed adjustment. I'm about 25lbs heavier then he is though, so that might account for something...

06 is exactly the same as 05 so the TORS + map will have same effect
